How Does It Work?

It all starts with becoming a volunteer
or, if you have some experience,
you can be an earthship apprentice.

As an apprentice you will get paid to work
and you will learn from the project manager.

After several builds you have the option
to apply to become a project manger.
Then you will have more responsibility
and will also get paid accordingly.

One day if you really stick at it you can become an Earthship Guru and be a fully fledged Earthship Builder.

In this way we can build up a large network of experienced people who can facilitate many new builds.

We can empower you to learn how to build for yourself one day, and also by giving you self employment.

The skills we are learning are precious and very needed today.

It is very important that we build correctly
and produce not only beautiful Earthships,
but also fully functioning Earthships.

We will send a team in to build and to teach local workers. We generally aim to finish basic strtucture and roof within 4 weeks.
