Environment Awards

Environment Civilian Awards from World Environment Council are conferred to people with outstanding achievements in their field of Environment. These awards are presented to the respective recipients by the Chief Guest. The inception year of these Civilian awards is 2023. Environment Civilian Awards are categorized according to the degree of honour.

1. Paryavaran Bhushan- पर्यावरण भूषण

This is the first-highest environment civilian award from WEC and is conferred to people with achievements for service in any field and sector but related to all environmental issues and research, climate change, environmental education.

Eligibility: (Work Experience above 20 years in Environmental Related Field)

2. Paryavaran Shri- पर्यावरण श्री

This is the second-highest environment civilian award from WEC is given to the people for their 'work of excellence', people from various fields such as Environment, Environment Education, Climate Change, Eco-Friendly Innovations, Agriculture, Research in Medicine, Science and Engineering for environment, Cleanliness, Civil Service, Environment Friendly Trade and Industry etc are eligible for this. Without any discrimination of race, caste, gender, occupation, position and area this award is presented to those who really deserve to have it.

Eligibility: (Work Experience above 10 years in Environmental Related Field)
